Featured AncelGlink Articles:
New! For many years, Ancel, Glink attorneys have appeared at the conference of the Illinois Municipal League and of the Municipal Clerks of Illinois. These materials generally take the form of questions and answers. Read these at our new conference section here: http://www.ancelglink.com/publications/conf.html.

Ancel Glink's 2007 Newly-Elected Officials Guide
The Newly-Elected Officials Guide can help newly-elected officials deal with the common legal problems they may face. A failure to understand and follow these rules can, in the extreme, result in a conviction under the State's criminal laws and a removal from office. More practically, a failure to know about and understand these duties and obligations can result in suspicion and non-cooperation from incumbent officials who question whether you are "ready for prime time". The many sections of this Guide should help.
Miscellaneous
The writings by our attorneys are extensive and this web site contains a sample of those documents. Two articles which continue to be of interest are: Sample Rules of Order and Procedure for Illinois Municipalities and The Mystery of Illinois Workers' Compensation: Permanent Partial Disability.
