Bio: Britt Isaly received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1992 and his Juris Doctorate in 1995 from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. He has been admitted to practice law before the Illinois Supreme Court and the Northern District of Illinois.

In addition to handling cases at the administrative and trial level, including trying several jury trials to verdict, he has argued cases before the Illinois Appellate Courts. Mr. Isaly represents municipalities in police and fire pension board hearings and has appeared before bankruptcy courts on behalf of municipal creditors. Mr. Isaly represents numerous Illinois public entities, both in corporate and litigation settings.

Mr. Isaly is a former elected library trustee for the Village of Lake Bluff. He has written extensively on Illinois municipal law and has co-authored the first handbook of its kind, the Financial Manual for Illinois Public Libraries, published by the Illinois Library Association. Mr. Isaly has lectured before the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Library Association, the International Association of School Business Officials, at seminars sponsored by the National Business Institute, and has participated in seminars before a number of library and school organizations.
