Bio:
Ms. Goshgarian received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Illinois, Urbana, and her Juris Doctorate degree magna cum laude from De Paul University College of Law. She has concentrated her legal practice in real estate, probate and local government law matters. She has represented a variety of local governmental units and the Lake County Public Guardian and Administrator.
Ms. Goshgarian began her legal career in the corporate legal department of Continental Bank, concentrating in matters presented by trust officers of the Bank. She then became an associate with Righeimer, Righeimer and Martin, P.C., working in the areas of real estate litigation and estate law. During this time she served as a Special Assistant Attorney General in condemnation proceedings. In 1983 she opened her own legal practice which concentrated in real estate, estates and general practice. She continued as a Special Assistant Attorney General in condemnation matters for a short time, and for a number of years represented the Lake County Public Guardian and Administrator. She continued with this until family obligations intervened.
Ms. Goshgarian has done extensive volunteer work. For over 20 years she served as a Commissioner of the Round Lake Area Park District, serving in the capacity as Vice President and President. She served as a founding Board member of the Lake County Council Against Sexual Assault. She is currently a member of the Board of the Friends of the Round Lake Area Parks Foundation and the Board of the Round Lake Beach Civic and Cultural Center. She has also done extensive volunteer work for Carmel High School, Mundelein, IL and St. Gilbert School, Grayslake, IL. She is a member of a community bank board for Harris Bank.
