Bio: Brent Denzin joined the firm of Ancel, Glink, Diamond, Bush, DiCianni and Krafthefer, P.C., as an associate in April 2008. He received a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan in 2001. In 2005, Mr. Denzin graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where his course work focused on real property, environmental, and land use law. Upon graduation, Mr. Denzin was awarded a two-year Equal Justice Works Fellowship to concentrate on land use and environmental law, with a focus on suburban growth in rural areas across Wisconsin.

As an Equal Justice Works Fellow and attorney at Midwest Environmental Advocates, Inc., Mr. Denzin represented community groups in impact litigation cases involving annexation proposals, international crude oil pipeline projects, statewide municipal stormwater rules, and more. Additionally, Mr. Denzin represented groups in front of local Plan Commissions, City Councils and other municipal bodies in conditional use permit hearings, zoning ordinance hearings, and comprehensive planning sessions. Over the past two years, Mr. Denzin published a series of legal tool-kits on Zoning and Annexation Laws, Clean Water Act Stormwater Permitting Requirements, Big-Box Ordinances, Open Meetings Laws and Public Records Laws. His most recent publication, "Local Solutions to Stormwater Pollution" is scheduled to be released by American Rivers, Inc. in May 2008.

While in law school, Mr. Denzin co-founded and headed the Wisconsin Environmental Law Advocates, and received the Deans Academic Achievement Award and Barbara Crabb Award for Service to Fellow Students. Mr. Denzin is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and American Planning Association.
