Pedro has substantial experience representing clients in cases involving tort, the Tort Immunity Act, complex litigation matters and civil rights cases. He has obtained numerous summary judgments and dismissals on behalf of his clients prior to trial. Pedro also represents Plaintiffs in personal injury claims, trucking accidents, dental malpractice and wrongful death claims.
Pedro has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict. And, achieved favorable results representing clients at arbitration and mediation. He approaches each case with an aggressive, yet professional disposition to create a tailored litigation strategy that leads to favorable results.
For his work, Pedro was recognized as a Super Lawyer in 2024, 2023 and as a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2013 through 2017. No more than 5% percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to the list.
Pedro earned his Juris Doctorate degree from DePaul College of Law, where he was selected to participate in the HNBA National Moot Court based on written brief, and was awarded 2003 “Best Oralist.”

Experience
Particular highlights of his recent practice include:
- Obtained settlement of $950,000. on behalf of pedestrian client who was injured by a truck while crossing an intersection in the City of Chicago. Garcia v. Central Sod Farms, Inc., et al.
- Obtained a not guilty verdict for City of Zion and paramedic following catastrophic motor vehicle accident resulting in traumatic brain injury, after week-long trial where Plaintiff asked for $5.5 million dollars. Perez v. City of Zion, et al.
