Aaron Bitterman is an associate in the firm's litigation group.
Aaron practices multiple facets of municipal and general litigation at Ancel Glink including healthcare related negligence, insurance coverage disputes, U.S.C. §1983 claims defense, FOIA compliance, breach of contract, and personal injury. Through zealous advocacy, he has saved his clients millions of dollars in defense cases and recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars in subrogation of workers’ compensation claims with third party liability.
Prior to joining Ancel Glink, Aaron practiced at a firm in Chicago defending long-term care facilities in over a dozen counties throughout the state of Illinois in cases involving allegations of nursing negligence, wrongful death, and premises liability. Aaron has also practiced healthcare litigation defense in the State of New York with an emphasis on defending medical professionals including dentists, psychiatrists, and hospitals. Aaron has extensive experience participating in mediations as well as drafting and arguing substantive and dispositive motions including motions for summary judgment.
Aaron grew up in Skokie, Illinois and attended both undergraduate and law school at Washington University in St. Louis. His interests include American history and sabermetrics.
